- I'm not pissed that I exercised 5 days last week, and only lost 0.8 at WI tonight.
- I'm not pissed that I went to walk on Sunday (after I had been out drinking all night), and my reward was a massive thunderstorm that hit when I was 1 mile from my car. At least I got some running in trying to get back to my freaking car.
- I'm not pissed that I earned 16 APs last week, and still only lost 0.8 at WI tonight.
- I'm not pissed that I stayed on track almost all week, with one minor indiscretion on Saturday night, and still only lost 0.8 at WI tonight.
- I'm not pissed that one of the two pairs of jeans I wear all the time felt tight when I put them on this morning.
- I'm not pissed that I can't be pissed since I had several weeks with good losses that I didn't earn.
- I'm not pissed that I know the scale will eventually catch up, but that I have no reward for this week.
- I'm not pissed that I am still looking at 219 on the scale when I first saw that number on March 17th, over one month ago.
- I'm not pissed that I've been between 218 and 220 for 5 weeks now.
- I'm not pissed that I tracked and counted all week and still only lost 0.8 at WI tonight.
- I'm not pissed that I felt really good about how I looked yesterday and today feel huge and enormous and gross.
I will be back to my normal self tomorrow. For tonight, I am going to let myself be pissed. I mean, happy or pissed I'm still going to spend tonight studying family law, so does it really matter??

lol I love the list, and the way you presented it.
Don't sweat it girl, you still lost, so it's a step in the right direction and like you said, your body is so going to catch up.
And, I completely understand being stuck, been there done that, I'm now to the point where I got stuck last time, and boy I am hoping I don't get stuck this time.
Caroline, If you haven't already, please check your gmail address for a response from me to your question on my blog.

It's difficult when you work especially hard and aren't immediately rewarded for your efforts. That drives me crazy, too. AND I've been bouncing between 200 and 205 since the beginning of MARCH, so I can relate to your frustrations.
It's difficult to look at the positives, but there are some!
You exercised 5 times last week! Regardless of its impact on your weight, you are on the road to improving your overall fitness. Improve your fitness, and your weight will follow.
You lost nearly a pound! Perhaps that's not as much as you were hoping for, especially after exercising so much and sticking mostly to plan, but it's a move in the right direction. As you pointed out, the scale will catch up. It's only a little below your average per week loss.
Excellent work last week! Keep it up. :)
Thanks for your C25K insights. I thought you had a very interesting point on maintaining pace on a treadmill vs. running outside. On a treadmill, it keeps pace for you, but outside, you have to figure it out for yourself. I hadn't thought of that before. Maybe I'll hold off on that treadmill purchase!
As for doing my running REALLY EARLY in the summer, you bring up a good point. I'm sort of, uh, allergic to mornings. ;-) At its hottest, the lows in Phoenix average in the low 80s.
Could it be that I'm looking for an excuse not to get started?
You might not be eating enough for the exercise you've been doing (yes I know that sounds crazy!) Are you eating any of your APs? The trainer I work with said I should be eating 1800 calories a day for the exercising I do (and that's to lose...think if I was trying to maintain)....1800 calories?!?! That seems insane but I guess the body needs those calories.
